We are active members ot the PBFA and exhibit at Northern Bookfairs in the UK, such as Buxton, Pudsey, York, Ilkley & Harrogate. We also organise a major 1 day Northern Bookfair at Haydock Park, held twice a year in April and November.

I shall be exhibiting at the forthcoming:

- York Family History Fair (York Racecourse) on Saturday 26th June 2010
- Buxton Book Fair
(Pavilion Gardens) on Saturday 10th July 2010
This is a two-day fair but I shall only be there on the Saturday.
Recent purchases - a long run of Lancashire Parish Registers including many of the difficult to find parishes and a complete run of Lancashire and Cheshire Record Society volumes (Nos 1 to 144).

Lancashire and Cheshire Record Society
The Record Society of Lancashire and Cheshire was started in Manchester in 1878 for the purpose of transcribing and publishing original documents to do with the two Palatine counties. The Society has published 144 volumes so far and is still going strong. The volumes are always interesting, well-produced and handsomely bound and often contain information not readily available elsewhere.
